What is this?

Two Wikipedia articles. Guess which one people looked up more.

These are Wikipedia pageviews — how many times each article was actually opened and read. Not Google search volume, which is what most higher-or-lower games use. The results are often quite different.

The numbers are real monthly pageviews from the Wikimedia Pageviews API, covering last month. They refresh on the 3rd of every month, so the answers change.

Articles come from Wikipedia's Vital articles lists — about 10,000 subjects editors consider most essential, so you should recognise most of them. Early rounds are easier; the gap narrows as your streak grows.
